If you want to know Why Pakistani Artists should be Banned in India then you must read this in favour of this topic.

Coming to the present situation of India-Pakistan after Uri Attack September 2016, many says that “Pakistani artist should be banned in India”.
Most of them are correct at their places. The statement that “Pakistani artist should be banned in India” may be correct or incorrect. It all depends on the ideology behind saying it.

One point which could be very much correct is that these artists could be the part of terror funding agencies. The reason behind this that Pakistan is itself a poor country which could hardly manage food/shelter/clothes for each of its citizens. They got massive ammunition and destructive material.

From where the fund for all these is coming from? Since inside the country there is no money so the fund is coming from outsiders either by Pakistani businessman outside, Muslim countries, grand’s from the US or lastly by these artists but it is very difficult to make out which Pakistani artist is engaged in terror activates? So just for the sake of security and as an initiative towards anti-terrorism many people say that Pakistani artist should be banned in India.

Another point that can be taken in account is Indian artist are criticized by the Pakistani mob time to time. As the latest example that can be considered is of Kabir Khan the director of the movies like Phantom, Ek tha tiger etc was heckled by a bunch of evil Pakistani crowd at Karachi Airport on his recent visit to Pakistan. Also, Indian movies are not that much appreciated in Pakistan. Pakistan has banned Indian movies time to time just as an avenge of tensed situation with India. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Ranjhanaa, Khiladi 786 , Neerja etc and a recent example of M S Dhoni’s Biopic that has been banned by Pakistan. Above movies don’t show any sensitive issue but were still banned in Pakistan.

All these above gestures clearly show a disrespect to Indian artists , so how can anyone expect a warm gesture by Indian crowd and still Indian crowd has overwhelmingly welcome Pakistani artists irrespective to the tension across borders.

Now, Most Pakistani artists came to India just for money and fame and do not really love or respect India. There is very least amount of money involved in Pakistani Film industry that’s why these artists visit India for opportunities and money resulting in increased amount of competition for Indian Artists.
If we broaden the view of this statement it could be like “Ban all those artist/businessman/diplomats who are directly/indirectly engaged in any terror activity”

In the above statement, the artist/businessman/diplomat may be from any caste, religion or nationality. So, we can say that the former statement was the compact end to the point explanation of this new general statement.
“Respect is what we owe; love, what we give.”

In general, artists do not belong to any caste, creed, race, religion, country etc. Boundaries are for politicians. Like ministers has his value only inside his state but this is not so with the artist.
The hard work done by an artist to perform his art can never be a limit to a particular region. An artist bought respect, fame, gratitude all across the globe, which is not so with any employer or politician/diplomat. This is because it’s not the physical body of that artist that is being respected or praised by the crowd. But it’s the art of that artist that is being admired. The physical body may belong to some cast, religion but till now nobody has any personal right on any type of art.

Coming to the present situation of India-Pakistan, Many says that “Pakistani artists should be banned in India”. If this statement is said just to express anger against Pakistan than it is wrong to consider Pakistani artist in it.

Moreover, all the Pakistanis are also not same. All are not terrorist and to connect all artists of Pakistan to terrorism is also not correct. Art transcends all political barriers; it is not limited by the boundaries. Pakistani music and art had always provided strength and depth to Indian Film Industry since decades.

Artist like Ghulam Ali, Mehdi Hassan, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan etc has always glorified Indian music industry. Now also, artists like Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali khan, Fawad Khan, usually has high demand in Major concerts all over the country.

Pakistan as a country as we all know always has evil stances towards India but that does not make all Pakistani’s bad or evil. Artist also should not be addressed or famed by the name of his/her country but by the art provided by him/her.

We Indians strongly believes and follows the saying “ATHITHI DEVO BHAVA” (अतिथि देवो भवः). These artists are also like our guest. What we are required to do is, acknowledge and appreciate their talent than to blame them on the basis of crime committed by a bunch of persons.
